Drawing from their collective experiences, producers Matt Cantor and Aston Harvey have moulded together their unique blend of breaks, dancehall vibes and dancefloor rhymes culminating in The Freestylers second album ‘ PRESSURE POINT.’
After the phenomenal crossover success of ‘ WE ROCK HARD ’ the lads from Ladbroke Grove went back to the studio taking with them all of their touring and DJ experiences from across the globe.
Working more closely with the vocal talents of Navigator and Tenor Fly and bringing new talents such as Valerie M and Petra Jean Phillipson into the fold the band have created a fantastic second album that will drive the Freestylers fans wild.
Promo’d last year, album tracks ‘Now is the Time’ and ‘Blowin’ your Brains’ were let loose surreptitiously to receive notoriety amongst the privileged few who received a copy, most notability becoming Pete Tong’s essential tune.
Matt and Aston have rolled out and tested selective cuts of the new album on their numerous DJ tours across the globe as well as performing with the Freestylers band alongside Limp Bizkit and Lenny Kravitz on various US Tours. The challenge and driving force behind 'Pressure Point' has been to take the music from clubland to the next level - the sound of Future rave.
