From small beginnings in 2000 in Sydney, Parklife has evolved into a national institution renowned for delivering cutting edge line ups of incredible talent from around the globe. In 2007 the Parklife National Tour proved to be the standout success of the year, showcasing what many regarded as one of the most diverse, eclectic and ground breaking line ups ever assembled, to a combined crowd of over 100,000 people across the country.
Parklife is now as much an Australian icon as the vegemite on your toast and the Eucalyptus trees under which it was first staged, and once again 2008 will be bringing an unrivalled array of fresh and experienced international and live acts and DJs.
Last year saw Boomtick heave Parklife out of Aberdeen Street and land at a park location – Wellington Square, which proved to be bigger, better and more sensational than ever before. This year Parklife is back at Wellington Square with bigger names, more artists and amazing talent.
